A powder blue kurta in softly textured cotton, with a round neck notched at the front and three-quarter sleeves. A yoke runs across the chest, and below it the kurta is gathered so it falls in a gentle flare to the calf, with slits at the sides. Floral sprays are hand embroidered in pale gold metallic thread across the yoke and on the sleeves, and the straight cotton pants carry the same sprays on the lower legs and end just above the ankle. The sheer chanderi dupatta is edged in gold along both long sides, with fine gold stripes across the ends and lines of small metallic motifs running down its length. It slips on with no fastenings, has no pockets and is unlined. Dry clean only. A pale, cool shade for daytime weddings, pujas and festive lunches.
