Size guide
Our suits and our gown come in sizes S to XXL, chosen by your bust measurement. Lehengas come in the same sizes, or in one size: semi-stitched, which adjusts, or free size. Most product pages also have a size chart of their own, often with the length of each piece.
Size chart
Sizes S to XXL, with the maker's chest size for each. Measure yourself as shown under How to measure, then find the size for your bust.

Bust is the maker's chest size for each size, and the one to choose by. Waist and hip are typical body measurements for each size, as a guide.
How to measure
You need a soft tape measure. Note each measurement, then compare it with the size chart.
Bust
Around the fullest part of your bust, with the tape level across your back and under your arms.
Waist
Around your natural waist, the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above your navel.
Hips
Around the fullest part of your hips and seat, with your feet together.
Length
From the top of your shoulder, beside your neck, straight down to where you want the hem to fall. For bottoms, from your waist to your ankle.
Tips
- Measure over light clothing, or the underwear you will wear with the outfit.
- Keep the tape snug but not tight, and breathe normally.
- Ask someone to help if you can: it is hard to keep the tape level behind you on your own.
Suits
Anarkali, sharara, palazzo and salwar suits and kurta sets come in sizes S to XXL. Choose by your bust: the maker sizes the kurta or anarkali by chest.
- Anarkalis
- Fitted through the bodice and flared below it, so the bust decides the size and the flare leaves room at the waist and hips.
- Sharara and palazzo
- Cut wide and free flowing. Many have an elastic waist or come in one free size; the product's own size chart says which.
- Pants and salwars
- Many have an elastic waist. Where one fits up to a stated size, the product's size chart says so.
- Lengths
- Most product charts give the length of the kurta or anarkali and of the bottoms, and the dupatta's length in metres. Compare them with your own length measurement.
- Between two sizes
- Choose the larger one.
Lehengas
Lehengas come in sizes, semi-stitched or free size, and each product page says which.
- Semi-stitched
- One size. The skirt is made, and its waist adjusts with a drawstring, often with a zip, up to the largest waist the product page gives, such as 42 inches.
- Blouse fabric
- The blouse, or choli, of a semi-stitched lehenga often comes as unstitched fabric, for your tailor to make to your measurements. The product page gives how much fabric there is.
- Free size
- One size, which fits up to the size the product's own chart gives.
- Sized lehengas
- A lehenga sold in sizes S to XXL is chosen by bust, like our suits. Where its own chart gives the lehenga's waist and length, compare them with your own.
- Length
- Lehengas are usually worn to the floor. Measure from your waist to the floor in the shoes you plan to wear, and compare it with the lehenga length on the product page.
Gowns
Our gown comes in sizes S to XXL and is chosen by bust, like our suits.
- Its own chart
- The gown's product page has a size chart of its own, with a note on how its sizes run.
- Between two sizes
- Choose the larger one.
Reading a size chart
- Chest and bust
- In our product charts, Chest is the maker's chest size for each size, the same as Bust in our size chart.
- Lengths are the garment's
- Kurta, anarkali, pant, sharara and lehenga lengths are measurements of the garment itself, from shoulder or waist to hem.
- Free size
- A piece marked free size, or with an elastic waist, fits a range of sizes, and the chart says up to which.
