A deep red A-line kurta in chanderi, a cotton and silk blend, with a front yoke hand embroidered in gold thread with sequins, beads and studs, framed by a line of cream beads and scattered with single sequins; the same work borders the three-quarter sleeves. The round neck has a keyhole that closes with a beaded button and loop, and the kurta slips on. The lined body falls below the knee, and sheer, unlined panels drop from the sides in handkerchief points that reach the calf. It comes with chanderi pants on a drawstring that end at the ankle, their scalloped hems edged in gold, and a sheer chanderi dupatta with a scalloped gold edge and small gold tassels. Regular fit. Dry clean only. A rich red for festivals, weddings and evening celebrations.
