A short, straight ivory kurta in handloom chanderi silk, a silk and cotton blend, with a yoke printed in tan with suns, swirls and bands of fine lines, small covered buttons in pairs down its centre and a notched round neck. Fine gold gota trim edges the yoke, runs down the front to the hem and finishes the hem. The three-quarter sleeves flare at the ends into wide bands printed to match the yoke. It ends just above the knee with a straight hem, slips on and is lined. It comes with a sharara in the same chanderi silk, fitted to the knee and then falling in deep pleats to the ankle, printed with large paisleys and a patterned border at the hem, with a slip-on waist. The set has two pockets and no dupatta. Straight fit. Dry clean only; dry in the shade and iron on the reverse. For daytime functions, pujas and festive lunches.
