Shipping and returns

A black tussar silk saree printed in the style of Madhubani, the folk painting of the Mithila region of Bihar. Small flowers in blue and white are scattered over the body, and the border and the wide pallu, the end worn over the shoulder, are printed on an off-white ground with fish, figures and trees in blue, pink and green. Tussar is a wild silk with a soft, slightly textured sheen. It is 5.5 m long and 112 cm wide, and comes with an unstitched blouse piece, 1 m long and the same width, to be tailored. Free size. Hand wash. For festivals, daytime weddings and family celebrations.
