A black angrakha kurta in a silk blend jacquard woven with a tonal floral pattern, its front crossing over into a V neckline edged in gold. Sprays of gold metallic embroidery and small sequins cover the bodice, with small single motifs scattered around them, and the full, flared hem is finished with a scalloped gold lace. The three-quarter sleeves end in bands of the same embroidery edged in gold lace. The kurta is lined and falls to the mid-calf. It comes with straight black trousers with side pockets and a partly elasticated waist, and a sheer black organza dupatta edged with a broad gold border. The trousers are made for an inseam of 27 in (27 in), the same in every size. Lengths are approximate: on the model the kurta falls to the mid-calf and the trousers to the ankle.
